

Recent changes with the U.S. Department of State's Visa Priority Bulletin
The U.S. Department of State has recently changed its visa bulletin structure, allowing many applicants in preference categories to file for adjustment of status (permanent residence) in the U.S. before their actual priority date has become current. This is a tremendous benefit for those in the U.S. waiting for their priority date to apply for adjustment and most importantly, to apply for a work permit. Naturalization Applications can now be paid with credit cards
U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services has now made it easier for naturalization applicants to pay the required fees with credit cards.There is no additional fee to pay with your credit card. The N-400 is the only form that can be paid for by credit card using the G-1450, Authorization for Credit Card Transaction. You may use Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. USCIS has published updated guidance for waiver adjudications
U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services has published draft guidance on improving the adjudications of waivers of inadmissibility, outlining relevant factors for consideration and emphasizing the legal standards required for review. Comments from stakeholders are due by November 23, 2015.
