Employment Authorization for Certain Battered Spouses of Nonimmigrants

Great news! USCIS is implementing a new policy based on a long-awaited addition to the Violence against Women Act to allow battered spouses of persons with nonimmigrant visas in the A, E-3, or G, or H categories if they can demonstrate that they were victims of domestic violence.
